Privacy Policy

Inventory Recovery Partners LLC · Last updated October 29, 2026

Inventory Recovery Partners LLC ("IRP", "we", "us") buys excess inventory from businesses and resells it through secondary channels. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it. It covers this website, our email and phone contact with sellers and buyers, and the internal inventory system we use to run the business, including its connections to online marketplaces such as eBay.

1. Information we collect

From sellers and business contacts. When you send us an inventory list, fill in our contact form, email or call us, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number and the details of the inventory you describe, including any files you attach.

From website visitors. Our web host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time). We use Google Search Console and similar tools to understand how people find the site. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

From marketplaces. When we sell goods through an online marketplace, the marketplace handles the buyer's account, payment and shipping details under its own privacy policy. Our inventory system reads order information from the marketplace only to the extent needed to account for the sale: order number, items, quantities, amounts, fees, and the destination state and country for tax and shipping records. We do not store buyers' names, usernames, street addresses, email addresses or phone numbers in our system.

2. How we use information

  • To review inventory offers, respond to enquiries and complete purchases and sales.
  • To arrange freight, invoicing and payment with the businesses we buy from and sell to.
  • To keep accurate inventory, sales and accounting records as required by law.
  • To run and secure this website and our internal systems.
  • To send occasional business emails to companies that may have excess inventory. Every such email includes a way to opt out, and we honor opt-outs promptly.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

3. Marketplace seller accounts

Our inventory system connects to seller accounts on marketplaces (for example eBay) using the marketplace's own authorization process. The account holder signs in on the marketplace's website and grants permission; we never see or store the account password. We store only the access token the marketplace issues, encrypted, together with the seller account's identifier. The account holder can withdraw this permission at any time from their marketplace account settings or by asking us, and we then delete the stored token and account identifier.

4. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate: our web and email hosting (Microsoft 365, Network Solutions), freight carriers and 3PL warehouses for shipments, our accounting software, and the marketplaces through which we sell. Each receives only what it needs for its task. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

5. Retention

We keep business correspondence and inventory offers for as long as we have an active or potential business relationship, and transaction and accounting records for the period required by tax law (generally seven years). Website server logs are kept by our host for a limited time and then deleted. Marketplace access tokens are deleted when the account is disconnected.

6. Security

Our internal systems are reachable only over an encrypted private network with multi-factor sign-in, access is restricted to authorized people, credentials are stored encrypted, and backups are kept in encrypted cloud storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

7. Cookies

This website uses only the technical cookies needed for the contact form to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you or your company, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. To opt out of business emails, use the link in any email or contact us. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have the rights those laws provide; we honor requests from any location in the same way.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date.
